I'm so glad that Ishmeet has won !! Ishmeet, not only are you truly the voice of India, you are an epitome of strength and self-confidence. No other way could anyone brave the uncouth behavior of the likes of adesh srivastava and emerge the ultimate winner.
Today when entire nation is celebrating Ishmeet's victory, some 'bhayias' of 'aaj tak' news channel seemed to be really pissed off with the outcome of voice of india. They invited adesh srivastava (!) to discuss the result and the voting system. Just a word to them - Ishmeet is the voice of India because he got more votes- from where it really doesn't matter. We need to look at the votes in totallity..the aggregate. Why did he get more votes - because he is more deserving ! His voice has a class. Whereas, Harshit's voice is so plebian, so very local.
So, let me congratulate Ishmeet again. Congratulations Ishmeet. Good luck ! |

Ishmeet's victory is the true victory of honesty and talent. Shame on these so called judges, Aadesh Srivastva and Lalit Pandit. These people don't deserve to sit in a judge's chair as they have no ethical or moral values. Their comments during this entire show were racist and demeaning. If these guys have any self esteem, they should not show their faces on a show again.

He is the real VOI and the best amongst them all. That was proven during the grand finale when the crowd went crazy during his performance. Even the judges award was given to the wrong person. (as was evident by chants of Toshi, Toshi), Toshi- you are always in our prayers and we know you will get your rightful place in the music world soon- you will be the brightest star to ever shine. She appears to be one of the best contenders among the 22 finalists. A perfect combo of brillance and smartness, apart from having the right appeal. Some more background information like no of children, profession, house wife, etc, about the contestants would have been good to arrive at comments. She has to get either of the titles for sure. |

I solemnly regret for the number 2 position in VOI. But I appreciate Harshit's efforts and hard work that he never stops even at the last moment. To be frank, I appreciate his singing earlier the song in Karz, EK HASINA THI.... which was mindblowing, I still remember the same song was sung by Toshi in one of the episodes of VOI, but the power and magic spread by Harshit was par excellence.
In true sense, Harshit was out of VOI on the same day when IRFAN was eliminated. But no regrets, he survived until the last moment and came as runner up. Good... what I suggest to you Harshit, you try to sing those songs which have melody as well as soothing nature. In the whole of VOI I particularly watched your performance which is not up to the mark.
Do not imitate the legendary singers, try to sing in your own voice which would be more approrpriate and that would have resulted as the winner of VOI. But nice try... .
Last but not the least you should continue singing and aspire your desire to reach the ladder which will lead to stardom on the firmament of singing.

I am really sad that Toshi Sabri was eliminated twice, it shows nothing but the ill luck of the most talented singer. He can sing any type of song with ease, nothing can obstruct him his way. The system of selecting a winner through SMS is bullshit... It is nothing but grabbing money from the innocent public and favouring the Mobile companies.
In my veiw four singers have weight that took part in VOI, they are IRFAN, TOSHI, ABHILAASHA & SUMITRA. Alas, all of them eliminated by process so that they can crown whom they selected earlier. It is unfair to ignore such talented singers. Wait and watch these singers will make one day such a name that they winner of VOI lost amidst the mist of oblivion.
All my praises and sympathies are with them and let this BEHOSHI of TOSHI should break and roar like a LION, let the blind and deaf listen your voice.

Ishmeet was the deserving one and he got the ulitmate price. He never lost his cofidence and proved to be better n better at each level, instead of he being discouraged by the so called mentors(puppets).
Cud u pl tell wat is age difference between Ishmeet n Abbas?... only 3 months. But Ishmeet doesn't behave like cartoon characters as Abbas did, but it doesn't mean Abbas is child n Ishmeet is his grandpa. Ishmeet is a sober, mature and reserve kind of person, so let it be. Actions speak louder then words. Ishmeet's voice is more like Shaan n Sonu Nigam, and is perfect for playback singing. And last he is the croud puller, that matters buddy.

Ishmeet ... congratulations buddy. u did a great job.
Lots of people made comments that Ishmeet only sings soft songs, but for your kind information every singer can't speak every type of songs, if u ask Udit Narayan to sing songs for Amitabh, he wont do justice and same for harshit he cud sing songs suited to Amitabh types.
But Ishmeet having soft voice which is ideal for playback singers, as always there are more romantic songs in a movie and are most liked songs. Also with proper training i think he has the potential to become a grt singer.
Good luck buddy, whole world is with u. U know if u r truthful n honest and u need something, then the whole world conspires to make it happen for u. :)

It is very surprising that Ishmeet won atlast the prestigious crown of mucic VOI. Among the 12 contestants he was very behind earlier but slowly he picks up as the talented singers eliminated one by one his way made clear. Harshit is not the right competitor for Ishmeet. It should have either Toshi or Irfan, that would have make the show more delicious. Anyways I wish Ishmeet a wonderful victory and GOD bless him in his future projects. |
