Cup 2008 was a series of four One Day International (ODI)
cricket matches between
India,
Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The series got started on June 08, 2008. The matches were telecast on
Neo Cricket channel.
The title sponsorship for the series was secured
by the Kitply Industries Limited of India who named it The Kitply Cup.
The tri-series served as a warm-up for the
Asia Cup in Pakistan which commences on June 24, 2008.
The three sides last met in a tri-series in
Bangladesh in 1998, with India edging out Pakistan in a best-of-three
finals.
