Bigg Boss is an Indian Television based reality show. The show is an adapted version of international reality series Big Brother. The first season was held in 2007 on Sony Entertainment Television channel. It was hosted by Indian film actor Arshad Warsi.

October 8, 2009 Bigg Boss is an Indian Television reality show. The show is an adapted version of international reality series Big Brother. Bigg Boss 3 started from October 4, 2009 and is aired from Monday to Sunday at 9:00 pm on Colors TV channel. The show is hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, a popular Indian film actor. A group of people live together full-time in the Bigg Boss House, isolated from the outside world and under the continuous gaze of television cameras. The contestants had to cook and clean by themselves. They were given tasks by the Bigg Boss each week. Every week one contestant got eliminated. Rahul Roy, an Indian film actor was the winner of the first season.

Bigg Boss 2 started from August 17, 2008 on Colors TV channel. The show was hosted by Shilpa Shetty, a well known Indian film actress and the winner of the much publicized 2007 Big Brother UK. It was aired from Monday to Sunday at 10.00 p.m. on Colors TV channel. The winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1 Crore.

Diana Hayden, an Indian model and also a film actress joined the Bigg Boss House on September 16, 2008. Monica Bedi returned to the show through a wild card round on October 07, 2008.

Grand Finale was held on November 22, 2008. Top three finalists were selected for the grand finale Aashutosh Kaushik, Zulfi Syed and Raja Chaudhary.

Aashutosh Kaushik was declared the winner of Big Boss 2 on November 22, 2008. Zulfi Syed and Raja Chaudhary were finalists.
