Anupam
Kher is an Indian film actor and also a director. He was born on March 07,
1955 in Shimla. He is well -known for his comic and villain roles. He
attended the National School of Drama and later became its director from
2001 to 2004.
Anupam made his acting debut with the Hindi film
Aagman in 1982. He got his major breakthrough with the Hindi film Saaransh
(1984). His acting was appreciated in the Hindi film Karma (1986) where he
played terrorist Dr. Dang. He has acted in several Hindi films such as

Kher has also served as a chairman of the Indian
Film Censor Board. He is married to Indian film actress Kirron Kher. His
brother Raju Kher is also an actor. He started a production company with
well-known Indian actor and director Satish Kaushik called Karol Bagh
Productions in 2007.
