Deepika Govind is an Indian fashion designer. Deepika graudated from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. She finished her Masters in Economics from the Stella Maris College in Chennai. She also attended the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bangalore. Deepika launched her own label in 1995. She set up a studio and a workshop and launched her own store in March 2002. Several of her designs have been featured in different fashion publications. She was a fashion columnist for Times of India, a leading English-language daily newspaper in India and also for a magazine in Bangalore. She has worked with several firms such as IBM, Swarovski, Moet & Chandon, Jacob's Creek, Abn Amro, Deutsche Bank, American Express Bank, The F-Bar, The Oberoi, Taj West End and others.
