 Jitin
Prasad is an Indian politician. He is the union minister of state for steel.
He was born on November 29, 1973. He is a Member of Parliament from
Shahjahanpur.
He is the son of well-known Congress leader Jitendra Prasad. His father was
the political advisor to prime ministers - Late Rajiv Gandhi and Late Shri.
P. V. Narsimha Rao. His sister Janhavi is a documentary filmmaker.
Jitin completed his schooling from the Doon
School, Dehradun. He graduated from the Sri Ram College of Commerce in
Delhi. He completed his M.B.A from the International Management Institute (IMI),
New Delhi.
He is a member of the Parliamentary Consultative
Committee of the Civil Aviation Ministry and Committee on Petitions and
Committee on Information Technology and Communications.
