Nutan was a well-known Indian film actress. She was born on June 04, 1936. She was the daughter of Indian film actress Shobhana Samarth and Indian film director Kumarsen Samarth. Her younger sister Tanuja is also a well-known Indian film actress. Nutan started her acting career at the age of 14. She made her debut with the Hindi film Hamari Beti (1950). Later, she participated in Miss India contest and won the title in 1952. Their son Mohnish Behl is also an Indian film actor. She died on February 21, 1991 of cancer, at the age of 54.
