 Rajeev
Shukla is the Vice-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
He is also a Member of Parliament and secretary of the All India Congress
Committee. He was born on September 13, 1959 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Rajeev started his career as a reporter. He has
served as the special correspondent for Ravivar Magazine and has also
anchored the television news show Rubaru.
His political career started after he got
elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2000. He was nominated as a secretary to the
All India Congress Committee in January 2006.
Rajeev is the founder and director of BAG Films
Limited, manager of the Indian National Cricket team, member of the Indian
Premiere League Governing Council, chairman of the Media Committee of BCCI
and spokesperson of BCCI. |

 | Anjanil Kashyap (Guwahati, India) | | 1 year ago ( 2008-12-31 15:52:25 ) | | A silent warrior | During my 9 years foray in journalism in Assam I have never got the opportunity to meet him personally but since my childhood he has been my icon in Hindi media arena of India.I know and adore him more as a esteemed Hindi journalist rather than a politician or a Cricket administrator.I used to enjoy and inspire to watch his program Rubaru in Television during my academic stage to become a journalist like him. He is a soft spoken person and never believe to exaggerate any news or information apart from the facts to be expressed.In my opinion apart from hard work and luck his cool, soft spoken,down to earth and a factual attitude towards any matters are keys in his shining career.The blend of those qualities are very rare in human beings hence he has miles to go in the service of nation.
On the eve of new year 2009 I wish grand success and glory to him and his organization with the hope that he will carry on his journalistic activities on TV apart from print media.

As we know he is a columnist for dainik jagran. So I have been reading him since my child hood. I like his approach towards the young generation thoughts and the india. On many ocasion I have seen that he just says the fact about the incident. Whenever he writes he just mention the appropriate fact. He never favours congress or bjp.
