Shah Rukh Khan is a popular Bollywood actor and producer. He was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi. He is considered to be one of the most influential actors in Indian cinema. He was born to parents of Pathan origin. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom activist. His mother Lateef Fatima was the daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan who served in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose. He completed his schooling from St. Columba's School, New Delhi. Later he joined the Hansraj College and earned an Honors degree in Economics. He also studied for a Masters Degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia University. In 2004, he set up another production company called Red Chillies Entertainment and produced and starred in the film Main Hoon Na which was a hit. He has also produced other films like Paheli (2005) and Kaal (2005). He was also the host of the third series of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati on Star Plus. He is married to Gauri Khan and has 2 children – son Aryan and daughter Suhana. His film Chak De India was released on August 10, 2007. His last release in the year 2007 was the film Om Shanti Om which was produced by his own company Red Chillies Entertainment. He was honored with the Filmfare Best Actor award for the Hindi film Chak De India (2007) on February 23, 2008 and Zee Cine Best Actor award on April 26, 2008.
