| Dance India Dance is a dancing competition premiered on Indian satellite television channel Zee TV. The second season of the "Dance India Dance" series produced by The Right Picture (TRP) which is partnered by Harbhajan Singh, started on December 18, 2009 and is aired twice a week, every Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm. Title sponsor of the show is LUX.
The first season of "Dance India Dance" series started on January 30, 2009. Md. Ghouse Y.K (Salman) from Bangalore was the winner of the first season of Dance India Dance.
Auditions for Dance India Dance season 2 were held in about 11 different cities throughout India such as Ludhiana, Lucknow, Baroda, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai in October - November 2009. Contestants between 15 to 25 years of age are participating in the contest.
Dance India Dance season 2 brings higher level of competition for talented trained and professional dancers. The participants compete under the support of three well-known masters - Remo D’Souza, Geeta Kapur and Terrence Lewis. Final 18 contestants are divided into three groups of 6 participants each, as Remo ke Rangeele, Geeta ki Gang and Terrence ki Toli. The contestants compete with each other by performing dances like Ballet, Acrobat, Shadow dancing and Mid-air dancing.
