Prannoy Roy,
is a private producer of news, current affairs and entertainment television.
NDTV group tied up with Indian film director
Karan Johar
and Dharma Productions and launched the new Hindi entertainment channel NDTV
Imagine on January 21, 2008. Karan Johar
is the creative consultant
and the ambassador of the NDTV brand. The channel is headed by
Sameer Nair,
the erstwhile CEO of Star Entertainment India.
Dhoom Macha De was a musical reality show which got started on February
01,
2008 on NDTV Imagine channel. The show was produced by SOL. The show aimed
to find India’s “Best Live Performer” through performances ranging from
Folk, Pop, Rap and others. The show was aired on NDTV Imagine channel, every
Thursday and Friday at 8:30 pm.
The show featured eleven well-known Indian singers who competed against each
other for the title of the Best Live Performer. It was hosted by well
known Indian actress and model
Malaika Arora Khan.
The panel of three judges were as follows:
Shankar
Mahadevan - Music Director
Prasoon Joshi
- Lyricist and Scriptwiter
Sharmila
Tagore - Actress
The eleven contestants
were as follows:
After several rounds of singing
performances, 3 finalists were selected on April 25, 2008 -
Richa Sharma,
Jaspinder Narula
and
Devang Patel.
The Grand Finale was held on May 09, 2008.
Jaspinder Narula was declared the winner of Dhoom Macha De.

All qualities such as singing and dancing with brilliant acting, spontaneousness, depth as human too, and versatile singing (if its a love song or qawwali or dandia or funny songs of his own style) with wide range ( at high notes too he sings with ease)... I think other singers are also good but they are not multy talented like DEVANG.
and the best live performer must be multy talented..
So if its a genuine contest then DEVANG PATEL will be the deffinate winner. | |
