 Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi
was an Indian reality stunt game show. It was
an adapted version of Fear Factor, an American reality stunt game show. The
show got started on July 21, 2008 on the newly launched Colors TV channel.
It was aired from Monday to Thursday at 10 p.m.
The show featured contestants who had to
perform and complete a series of stunts better or quicker than all the other
contestants. The contestant who failed to perform the stunts within the given
time got eliminated from the show. It was hosted by well-known Indian action
hero
Akshay Kumar.
The show featured 13 female celebrities from the Indian film and fashion
industry which were as follows:

A Wild Card
round was held on July 31, 2008 where 6 eliminated contestants -
Sonali Kulkarni,
Dipannita Sharma,
Meghna Naidu,
Tapur Chatterjee,
Tupur Chatterjee &
Yana Gupta competed against each other in
order to re - enter the show.
Tapur and
Tupur Chatterjee were eliminated from the
show while the rest of the four girls returned to the show on July 31, 2008.
After several stunts, three finalists were selected -
Aditi Govitrikar,
Nethra Raghuraman and
Urvashi Sharma.
The
final round was held on August 14, 2008.
Nethra Raghuraman was declared the
winner of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Especially the stunt of her being with Saif,
Coming to Khatron ke khiladi,After 5 contestants were left i felt giving away 2 safety bands was an undue advantage for the band earners.
That left 3 and instead of competition heating up it turned out to be more predictable.
The contestant going in first for the 1 stunt of the day was left with so much disadvantage and cudnt earn safety band and at the same time had more pressure to perform in the second stunt of the same day to keep their place.
Had there been no safety band , then possibly Nauheed and Roza both wud have been in the final 3.
Roza didnt really deserve to go but as it turned out she and nauheed were unlucky for the day and that was it.
I feel that once it comes down to 5 finalists they all shud eb amde to perofm atleast 5 stunts and based on the results of those 5 2 shud be eliminated.
The final 3 again shud do atleast 3 stunts to declare the most deserving winner.
This way the winner wud be such a person who has done and won most stunts and not a person who was just lucky on the day. | |
