Omanakuttam is an Indian model. She is originally from Kerala.
She was one of the contestants of
Femina Miss India South 2008, a beauty
contest organized by Femina, a women's magazine. She got a direct entry into
the top ten finalists of the
Femina Miss India 2008 after winning the
2008 Femina Miss India South title on
December 26, 2007. She also won the Femina Miss South Catwalk and Miss South
Beautiful Hair sub-titles.
Parvathy was crowned with the Femina Miss India
World title on April 05, 2008. She also won the Femina Miss Beautiful Hair,
Femina Miss Photogenic and Femina Miss Personality sub-titles.
She represented India at the 58th Miss World
pageant held in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 13, 2008 and won the
title of First Runner-Up in Miss World 2008 pageant. She also won the title
of Second Runner-Up in Miss World Top Model contest held on December 3,

She is indeed a cut above the rest. I didn't even dream that a girl from this God's own country - Kerala would rise up to this level. I am sure she will do well in the international level too. She reminded me of Sushmitha Sen. A girl with brains and beauty. During the general question round which gives them just 90secs. to think and pen down their thoughts.. She did a splendid job with that reply on Divorce..Has it got something to do with western influence was the question.
And she said firmly a big NO. And then went on to explain why she felt that way. Divorces are not a result of western influence. At the end of the day, it is we who decide whose worth us. Marriage is not when one completes the other but is when both share their completeness.
Parvathy holds a bright future and will be the shining star of India. She will lift up the name of her State Kerala too alongwith our country and put it on an international forum. | |
