Konkona Sen Sharma is an Indian film actress. She was born on December 03, 1979 in New Delhi. She is the daughter of Mukul Sharma and well-known film director Aparna Sen. She has an older sister called Kamalini Chatterjee. Konkona completed her schooling from the Kolkata International School and Modern High School for Girls in Kolkata. She graduated from the St. Stephen's College in Delhi. Konkona made her acting debut as a child artist in the film Indira in 1983. Her first film as an actress was the Bengali film Ek Je Aachhe Kanya (2000). She has acted in several films such as Titli (2002), Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (2002), Chai Pani Etc. (2004), Amu (2005), Page 3 (2005), 15 Park Avenue (2005), Amavas (2005), Mixed Doubles (2006), Dosar (2006), Yun Hota To Kya Hota (2006), Omkara (2006), Deadline (2006), Traffic Signal (2007), Life in a Metro (2007), Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007), Aaja Nachle (2007) etc. She hosted a show called My Brilliant Brain on National Geographic Channel.
