Its realy heartening to hear that Yedy's son has been given a ticket to contest from Shimoga. It was Shri Yedy always used the phrase 'Appa maklu n all' against Deve Gowda clan for the whole of last year and somehow garnered the sympathy. And with ammased wealth breaking a a woe made in from of media Yedy's son is contesting. What happened to BJP's ethics. I feel now Kumaraswamy's betrayal could be justified. I hope people of shimoga give a fitting reply to Yedy's dictatorship. |

I was not happy or getting irretated when congress was hell bent and trying to impress Sonia Gandhi to enter politics and guide congress to get back the stature after it was completely screwed by P V Narsimha Rao.
But for sure now i really apriciate the efforts and politics made by Sonia Gandhi to make some great decisions of the country.
However, BJP has adapted the same philosophy as they have also realised as there is now other alternative. B Y Raghavendra, Jaswant singh's son and many more, even i have not heard of the names and where were they.
At least in congress the culture is to groom the sons and grand sons from the early age and every body knows their option from long. If they are not good they cant win.
Now BJP is using the party name suddenly to get their sons on the crash course

Hi Friends,
People of Karnataka's cultural district Shimoga...you witnessed many movements in Karnataka history including Raitha Chaluvali. You have been model for entire State in terms of communal harmony, progressive thinking...now also be a model to all of us by defeating goonda son and father in blow...
Teach them a lesson...and show them that Shimoga people will not fall pray to their "shikari". And note you have to defeat them in such a way that it should create an history and a repetitive alarm for all politicians who play with common's life.
Yes, Shimoga people do not have any alternative than Bangarappa a Socialist leader to defeat the rowdy elements of BSY family. |

I fully agree with Aswini. I am also a Lingayat belongs to north Karnataka. Honestly, I felt miserable when our relatives supported BJP just because Yedyrappa ia a Lingayat. Today if I see it is even more horrible how they are ruling. All the Lingayats are humiliated because of Yedyrappa. So vote for Bangarappa and contribute yourseves in making Mr. Singh our PM once again |

BJP's casteist politics |
Yeddyurappa's showuld stop fritting away with tax payers money by doling it out to religious mutts. What has th emutts done in turn with the govt money. If he wants to do service to the mutts why does he not taken them under the control of government and run them rather than doling out money which is unaccountable and also makes no sense. Being a lingayat myself, he is polarising lingayats against other communities, this is highly deplorable and shows that BJP is a casteist party and would do anything to come to power. Also the issue of corruption is at its zennith at present.
I would urge the voters of Shimoga to elect Bangarappa - for maintaining the secular ethos, also for being a politician of straight talk. All those who made allegations against him that he was corrupt, should prove it rather than just making allegations. In the same slut when people talk about Yeddyurappa's wife death should we beleive and also the issue of Shobha karandlage. Hence i would say think positive and act positively by voting a person who has stood by you in thick and thin. Remember the worst drought in early 200 and how bangarappa helped the ryots. |
