International
Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is an awards ceremony, honoring Hindi
films around the world. The awards honor the best of Indian Film Industry’s
popular work from the previous year.
The first IIFA awards function was held in 2000
in London. Since then, the awards have been presented every year.

fun-filled activities that brings fans close to their favorite stars.

IIFA Film Festival
The IIFA Film Festival showcases some of the best films of Indian Cinema.
The first IIFA Film Festival was held in 2005.
IIFA World Premiere
The IIFA World Premier offers fans the first glance into the forthcoming
blockbuster from the Indian Film Industry. It gives the world a peek into
what the Indian Cinema holds for the future. The IIFA World Premiere film is
selected by the IIFA Advisory Board and the IIFA Management. The first IIFA
World Premiere was for the Hindi film Lagaan in 2001.
The FICCI - IIFA Global Business Forum
IIFA introduced the IIFA forum in 2002. The forum provides an
international platform and facilitates exchange of ideas and
innovations. The first IIFA forum was held in Malaysia.
IIFA Foundation - Celebrity Charity Fundraiser
IIFA organizes cricket matches, football matches, fashion
shows and other events during the IIFA weekend. It is a
collaborative effort between Indian and local stars,
celebrities, sponsors and partners to raise money for worthy
causes.
IIFA Fringe Festival
Includes numerous events and contests involving the local
community, offering an opportunity to local people to interact
with the stars.

The 2008 IIFA Awards, which recognized the excellence in Indian
cinema, was open for voting.
