    The 2009 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 2, was the second season of the Indian Premier League.
       
    The tournament was hosted by South Africa and scheduled between April 18 and May 24, 2009. The matches of IPL 2 was telecast live on Set Max channel.

    The final match of the IPL 2 was played between Deccan Chargers v Bangalore Royal Challengers on May 24, 2009 at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Deccan Chargers defeated Bangalore Royal Challengers in the final match and won the Indian Premier League 2009 (IPL 2).

    Specially after the Harbajan and Sreesanth incident Mumbai Indians have gathered momentum; is it Shaun Pollocks captaincy OR Bhajji absence?

    In this way once Sachin joins the team, they will be unbeatable

    i think thats the right name to mumbai indians bcz no one are expecting them to win titile but i i think they ALSO HAVE the chance to win.......... but i cant understand one thing that even though we dont have star players than any other teams in ipl why does it took 445 crores to ambani to buy this team .........i am desparate to know where did he spend his money ...i think this is the most valued team,,.....ie,.. most expensive i want answer .............CAN ANY ONE CLEAR MY OUBT PLZZZZZZZZ
