Chatterjee was born on July 2, 1989 in West Bengal.
Emon finished his schooling from the K.V. Airforce Barrackpore in West
Bengal. His hobbies are painting and sketching. He has been fond of music
since his chidlhood. He learnt music from his father Gopal Chatterjee.
Emon auditioned from Kolkata for
Indian Idol 3, a singing competition on
Sony Entertainment Television channel. He was among the top 10 finalists on
Indian Idol 3 and
attained 3rd place in the competition with public votes. He was eliminated
on September 8, 2007. |
