 Smita
Adhikari was born in 1983 in Kolkata.
Smita graduated from the Kolkata University. She has been learning classical
music since last 20 years. Her father is her greatest inspiration. Her
father is an Indian classical singer and used to work as a music assistant
to Hemant Kumar, an Indian playback singer.
Smita was one of the contestants of
Indian Idol 3, a singing competition on
Sony Entertainment Television channel. She was among the top 13 finalists on
Indian Idol 3 and attained 11th place in
the competition with public votes. She was eliminated on July 14, 2007. |
