2004 Election Scenario in Kagwad Constituency :

The 2004 Karnataka Assembly Elections saw 70.26% of the total 149181 voters of Kagwad constituency cast their votes.

Out of the total of 104808 votes polled, the BJP candidate Bharamagouda (raju) Alagouda Kage secured 44529 votes to win the seat. The nearest rival, Kiran Kumar Tatyagouda Patil, from Congress, managed to secure 41077 votes.
