Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain was an Indian Television game show which got started on Star Plus channel on April 25, 2008. The show was telecast every week from Friday to Sunday at 8:00 p.m. The last episode was telecast on July 27, 2008. The show was an adapted version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, an American quiz game show on Fox channel. It was hosted by well-known Indian film actor Shah Rukh Khan. The prize-money was Rs. 5 crores (approximately US$1.25 million). The contestants were presented with ten subject cards, which they answered in the order of their choice. The game format included 11 questions with prize-money starting from Rs. 10,000 (approximately US$250). Question 1 – Rs. 10,000 Question 2 – Rs. 20,000 Question 3 – Rs, 50,000 Question 4 – Rs. 1,00,000 Question 5 – Rs. 2,00,000 Question 6 – Rs 5,00,000 Question 7 – Rs. 10,00,000 Question 8 – Rs. 20,00,000 Question 9 – Rs. 50,00,000 Question 10 – Rs. 1,00,00,000 Question 11 – Rs. 5,00,00,000 (Bonus) Five kids were chosen by the channel to help the contestants during the show. They were as follows:   Shriya Sharma Dheirya Sorecha Anubhav Motilal Sriporna Ghoshal Milanjeet Singh Bhatti     The contestants were allowed three cheats to assist them during the quiz show which were as follows: Takjak The contestant had the opportunity to review his current teammate's answer before submitting his own. Bachao This cheat was triggered automatically if the contestant gives a wrong answer. If the contestant's partner turned out to have the correct answer, the contestant was saved. Copy The contestant may let his teammate answer for him. Once all the cheats had been used, the kids were no longer helpful. The contestant had to answer the last question without help, even if he/she had not used the cheats.
