 The
state of Maharastra went to the polls in October 2009 to elect
288 legislators,
as declared by the Election Comission of India. Voting took place on
October 13, 2009.
To form the next government in Maharastra, any
political party or alliance will need to win 144 or more assembly seats out
of the total of 288 seats. The Congress and NCP alliance has been rulling
the state of Maharastra for the last 10 years.
In Maharastra state, the last assembly elections
were held in 2004 in which, NCP(71) +
Congress(69) alliance got 140 seats,
BJP(54) +
Shivsena(62) alliance got 116 seats and other parties and
candidates got 32 seats.
Vote counting and results will take place on
October 22, 2009.

I am very ordinary young man of Jalgaon city and as per my point of view their are 95% in 100% candidates are selfish.
EVERY ONE IS ROBBERS EITHER CONG OR NCP OR SVS OR BJP OR MNS OR BSP ETC................
They don't fight election to do some thing for their motherland !.....
After the winning election they use public fund for themselves, for their party's karyakartas and for their party for next election's expenses.
This is bcoz of nobody is their to ask them to prevent them to do so.
Also our system is wrong somewhere and that's what they get encourage to such sin....
now a days their are many MNC's which make earn to their company good revenue by struggling in this global market "India".
Today India is known as well settled country in economy at global level.
why our "feeder's" farmer's need to do suicide?
Why farmers are still doing farming with tradition manner?
Why they are still away from advance technology?
Why the maximum number of people from rural area is still illiterate?
Why electricity doesn't reach to rural area?
Why maximum number of youth is still unemployed?
Why everywhere corruption is going on?
Why former criminals are leaders today?
Why terrorists are getting royal treatment in jail?
Why the people who provoke riots religions are not in the jail?
Why........why... .......why........etc...E tc...Etc..?

I am not from Maharashtra. I feel the Congress led UPA Government at the Centre has failed miserably to check the price of food stuffs, which is causing great hardship to the poor people of this country. NCP supremo Mr. Sharad Pawar hails from Maharashtra and is the Agriculture Minister in the Union Cabinet. He has made no worthwhile effort to check the steep rise in food prices. Earlier, former Union Home Minister Mr. Shivraj Patil, failed to check terrorism in the country. Mumbai was severely hit by terrorists time and again. Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation is inept and may be corrupt too. I hope the people of Maharashtra defeat the Congress-NCP combine in this election.
I am looking forward to the West Bengal Assembly Elections, 2011, when I fervently hope that the corrupt and inhuman Left Front Government led by Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharya will be wiped out of the state and the Trinamool Congress led by Ms. Mamata Banerjee will come to power with a thumping victory. | |
