 The
state of Orissa will go to the polls in April 2009 to elect
147 legislators,
as declared by the Election Commission of India.
There will be two phases of voting: April 16, 2009 for 70 constituencies and
April 23, 2009 for the remaining 77 constituencies.
Vote counting and results for both the phases will take place on May 16,
2009.
