 POGO
Amazing Kids Awards is a platform for young children in the age group of
4-14 to exhibit their talent in various fields like music, dance, sports
etc. It was started by the POGO channel in December 2004.
The award recognizes and celebrates the talent among the children. It also
recognizes child prodigies and rewards them for their outstanding
achievements in various areas including arts, leadership, music, sports etc.
POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 was telecast on December 29, 2007 on POGO
TV at 6:00 pm. It was hosted by the well-known Indian film actor
Aamir Khan and
Darsheel Safary, a child artist from the Hindi movie “Taare Zameen Par”.
24 talented kids from various cities of India competed against each other for the title of
the ‘POGO Amazing Kid’ across eight different categories.

The winners were awarded with a child benefit policy worth Rs. Five Lakhs
each and other gifts.
A separate award called POGO Voice Awards was also announced which allowed
kids with the right of choosing their favorite icons, actors, film, songs,
sports heroes and programs.

I'm Namrata Loka .. and before I had gone for the Limca records, I applied for the Pogo amazing kids awards .... And since I did not have the certificate of the Limca to show, I only reached the top 5 and could not go till top 3 .. .I was very disappointed and then I was determined to get into the Limca book !!
After this, I have been selected as one of the top 14 most talented kids in India, a tv programme by Star News, that was showcased on November 14, 2006 ... (: (: .. As much as I 'm proud of this achievement ... I request all of you to pray that I get through the Guinness WOrld Records easily. This is especially because I am planning to study in the US after my 12th .. and I really need some very good extracurricular activities at the National and International level.

Salman my name is Savita i am staying in Mumbai my dad is admitted in Sion hospital.... he got operated...he had a mouth infection.... he is week... so 1 and half month he is there in the hospital but he is still in ICU... he is still not recovered.... i am very tense and scare about... I dont know what these Doctors are doing... i can not afford to take him to the Private Hospital becuase we are belongs to middleclass people we dont have money to take him to the private hospital.... here in Sion hospital we are in fear always....
So i request you salman please if you can do anything for him. We can not sleep in the night because of fear... everybody in my house running after him but no use... no improvements. I am thinking to take him to private hospital but no one is here to help us....Please help us salman brother please for my dad sake.
