200 legislators, as
declared by the Election Commission of India.
Voting will be held on December 04, 2008 and
vote counting will take place on December 08, 2008.
Congress
won 96 out of 200 seats in the 2008 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Elections
while
BJP won 78 seats. |

The last Rajasthan assembly elections were held in 2003 where the
Bharatiya
Janata Party (BJP), led by
Vasundhara Raje had claimed a comfortable
victory.

Friends, All the politician are the same . I am not understand why you are guys are so supporting to anybody.
We have to dig a little bit more in mathematics:
A winner means he/she should get at least 50% vote.
Example: An election area where we have 7 candidates and 10,000 peoples
Candidate 1 – 3000 Votes
Candidate 2 – 2000 Votes
Candidate 3 – 1000 Votes
Candidate 4 – 800 Votes
Candidate 5 – 1200 Votes
Candidate 6 – 1000 Votes
Candidate 7 – 1000 Votes
Obviously the winner is Candidate 1
But in fact he/she is not winner because 7000 votes are against him.
I think following things should improve:
1. A lot of highly educated young guys don’t vote and the same people are frontier in blaming.
Honestly I have given only one time vote.
2. We should believe in individual personality rather than on party.
3. Election Commissioner should banned on the money which is spending by the Candidates
Example:
Suppose someone spending 25lacks rupees in his/her election. After winning he/she will do following things first:
He/she will try to retrieve her/his 25 lacs rupees by hook and crook, it means igniting corruption so ultimately we are the one who are giving chances to politician to spoil ourselves.

‘Pappu’ can’t vote …
Pappu- I’m sure this name doesn’t need any further introduction. We know it’s about a man who has a “Rado ka watch, Gucci ka perfume” but poor thing can’t dance. I would like to give a new dimension to this character. How will you address a person who has everything but has no time to cast his vote?
I would like to call him ‘Pappu”.
This article is for all those people who have the right to choose the leaders of the country…to all those who claim to have the right to decide the fate of the rest of us...for all those who have the right to vote but no time to exercise that right.
“Pappu” decides to go for a movie on the day of polling. He might even plan a vacation if the polling date falls with the weekend. But the most interesting part of “pappu’ is that despite of showing this “interest” in polling, he can curse the system and the leaders who make the system. He might not even think about his own contribution in the making of that system.
But the question is why “Pappu” can’t vote?
Some common reasons for not being a part of the voting are:
“Politics is not my cup of tea”, “whom we should vote for… they’re all the same. All are equally corrupt”, “no one cares for aam-aadmi, they are all busy making money”…I’m sure the list of these excuses doesn’t end there.
The leaders come into power on the basis of the number of votes that are polled by people like you and me. It’s you and me who make them ‘the leaders’ and drive the rest of us which we later might like or dislike.
Every vote counts, every effort counts. One vote can make or break a government; it can block or pave the way for the right person to be there.
We all blame the system for everything; we want a change in the system…but tell me what is stopping us from doing that. You have the right to do so; I have the right to do so. Then why not bring the change?

“Pappu” it’s time to wake up. You have it all, Rado ka watch, Gucci ka perfume and the right to vote. Please don’t waste this right once again. I request “Pappu” don’t give a chance to yourself to complaint about the system for the next five years.

Department was promoted to State Minister on 17 july, 1982 and given
the portfolio of Tourism, Art & Culture and archives.
Held independent charge of these departments.
3. On 27th August, 1983 Dr. B.D. Kalla was given charge of Higher Education
of assist the Hon’ble chief Minister Shri Shiv Charan Mathur.
4. Continued to hold the above departments in Shri Heera Lal Devpura cabinet.
5. During Shri Hari Dev Joshi cabinet (March 1985 to January, 1988) was
promoted to cabinet rank and given the post of Govt. Chief Whip.
6. In the second tenure of Shri Shiv Charan Mathur cabinet
(January, 1988 to November, 1989) was again inducted in the Council
of Ministers with cabinet rank and assigned the department of PWD,
Parliamentary Affairs, Educations. In Feb. 1988 with a minor reshuffling
in the cabinet was given the departments of Information & Public Relations
and Technical Education, in addition to the above department.
7. In June, 1989 while another reshuffling was done Dr. B.D. Kalla was
given the departments of PWD, IGNP, Colonozation and CAD. Held
these departments form June, 1989 to November, 1989.
8. In the second tenure of Shri Hari Dev Joshi cabinet (Dec. 1989 to March, 1990)
Dr. B.D. Kalla was made incharge of the departments of again of Social Welfare
and Housing.
9. From 1990 to 1993 when the BJP formed the Government, Dr. B.D. Kalla was
included in the panel of Chairman, Rajasthan State Assembly and
successfully conducted the House proceedings.
10. In Shri Ashok Gehlot cabinet (5th Dec. 1998 to Nov., 2003) Dr. B.D. Kalla
was again given the charge of Primary & Secondary Education. Subsequently
during a minor reshuffling of the ministry Dr. Kalla was shifted to
the departments of DOP, Administration, Cabinet Secretariat and IGNP. Dr. Kalla
is the first Cabinet minister probably in the entire country who was given the
responsibility of very sensitive department like DOP & General Adminstration.
He also proved himself worthy to have managed the maximum number of department
assigned to one single minister.
11. In December, 2003 when the 12th Rajasthan State Assembly was constituted after
the elections Dr. B.D. Kalla was again elected from Bikaner for the
5th time.
12. On 14th January, 2004 Dr. B.D. Kalla was elevated to the important position
of Leader, Congress Legislative Party. He is dedicatedly and diligently performing
all the duties related to this post taking co-operation from all party leaders
and workers.
Organisation : In 1993 Dr. B.D. Kalla was made General Secretary and Spokesman of Pradesh Congress Committee,
Rajasthan. Currently he is working as a Member of the All India Congress Committee (AICC)Other
Responsibility : 1. Dr. B.D. Kalla worked as a member of public Accounts Committee in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
He also remained a member of Desert Probe Area Project Implementation Committee,
Regional Railway Consumbers Advisory Committee and UTI, Bikaner.

In the last election people could not digest his gentleness and goodwill for the people. Including Jats and all other cast people gethered to defeat him and realised within a month, when BJP came in power the poor people of minority got troubled by the Thekedars of BJP.

5. Where did he get the funds to make a huge farm house in his native village , his and his brothers POSH bungalow in Jodhpur .
6. What happened to the railway line in Shergarh which he and Jaswant Singh & Manvender Singh -- the local BJP MP had promised
7. Why did he have to insult a local Schedule cast panchayat samiti
member for a small matter of flag hoisitng -- a clear example of dadagiri
8. Why did he have to JAM the national highway when the police arrested his men involved in killing a deer -- GOONDARAJ
9. Being a lIC agent we want to know how many policies did he make before he became a MLA & how many now -- all forceful policies done
