 Areeb
Khan Niyazi was born on August 19, 1996. He is from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh
and is a student of Sunway Senior Secondary School in Rampur.
Areeb started learning music from his father at a very young age. His father
is a ghazal and classical song singer. He has participated in and won
various interschool singing competitions. He can play Keyboard, Tabla,
Harmonium and Dholak very well. He has also played hockey at the national
level.
His dream is to become an actor or a singer.
Sonu Nigam
and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan are his favorite singers and
Om Shanti Om is his favorite film.
Shah Rukh
Khan is his favorite actor and
Deepika Padukone is his favorite actress.
Areeb was one of the contestants of
Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad, a
singing competition on Star Plus. He was eliminated on February 02, 2008.
He was also one of the contestants of
Chak De Bachche, a children’s singing and
dancing competition on 9X Television channel. He represented the Chhote
Shehar Ke Desi Dhurandhars team. He and his partner
Prabhjot Kaur
were eliminated on May 30, 2008. |
